Board approves workload policy, tables device rule and updates public-records timing
The board approved policy 4.27 (workload limits for certain special education teachers), tabled policy 5.24.5 on personal electronic device definitions for middle/junior-high grades, and approved policy 7.22 on public-data requests along with changing the Dec. 14 meeting time to 6:15 p.m.

The board took up operational items and moved previously tabled policies to second reading. Policy 4.27 (workload limits for certain special-education teachers) was approved on motion. A proposed personal electronic device policy (5.24.5) was questioned because the middle/junior-high grades were not defined; a board member asked for clarification and the board moved to table that policy until the October meeting.
