Suzanne Hegerty, director of the Dallas County Health Department, told the board the resolution before them amended a prior opioid settlement resolution to correct inaccurate project dates and to include the current remaining balance in the fund. She said the projects and amounts funded were unchanged by the amendment and that staff had consulted with legal counsel and finance before bringing the corrected text back to the board.
