Resident and staff press Dollar General over trees blocking sidewalk; code enforcement to issue ticket
A resident told the board evergreen trees at Dollar General are overhanging the sidewalk; code enforcement staff said new contact details were obtained and that a ticket will be issued this week if the property owner does not address the issue.

In public comment, resident Leanne Pettis said evergreen trees at the Dollar General location were growing over the sidewalk and forcing pedestrians into the grass. She said she had been raising the issue with village staff and volunteers and that the intrusion still covered more than half the sidewalk in July.
