Representatives on the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee used the second half of the work session to press DNR for concrete progress on community‑at‑risk mapping and implementation tools. Representative Springer asked point‑blank whether the department has produced updated, technologically driven community risk maps since HB 1168 was passed in 2021 and said she had seen insufficient support for communities such as Leavenworth and North Bend.
