Board approves Harney Park playground replacement contract
Trustees approved a construction contract with Altitude Recreation to replace aging playground equipment at Harney Park; staff said the existing equipment is original and has deteriorated from weather and flooding.

The board approved a bid from Altitude Recreation for replacement of playground equipment at Harney Park, where the existing structure is more than 20 years old and showing wear from sun and winter exposure. Julie Pacias, director of water and community resources, said the town received nine bidders and 18 proposals and selected Altitude based on design, ADA compliance, and overall value.
