Panelists recommended a focused agenda for the next meetings: (1) a technical briefing from the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety or a similar expert; (2) development of standardized review criteria and technical bulletins for municipalities; and (3) a plan to expand access to third‑party engineering review for complex projects. Eric George offered IA‑CT support and recommended IBHS as a presenter; DAS said it can range from phone guidance to formal interpretations depending on the complexity of an issue.
