Commission previews solid-waste procurement and utility bill-assistance proposals
Staff told the commission the solid-waste contract procurement will begin this year and previewed utility-bill assistance policy work; staff said procurement timing will be coordinated with county rate forecasts and that the current solid-waste contract is a long-term agreement nearing the end of its extension period.
