The council voted to authorize the insertion of $112,608.58 as a special item of revenue into the 2026 municipal budget to cover structural and bathroom work at Rutherford Hall. The mayor said the township will hold the amount until the contractor provides an invoice and proof of payment, since the hall’s fiscal year closes June 30.
