Trustees find educator abandoned contract, authorize state complaint
The Edgewood ISD board found that term contract employee Samuel Angiano abandoned his contract and authorized the superintendent to file a complaint with the State Board for Educator Certification under Texas Education Code sections 21.105 and 21.210.

At its Sept. 15 meeting the Edgewood ISD board voted to find that good cause did not exist for term contract employee Samuel Angiano to remain employed after what trustees characterized as contract abandonment. The motion authorized the superintendent to file a written complaint with the State Board for Educator Certification and to issue written notice to Angiano.
