The board voted to approve a memorandum of understanding with the Bureau of Land Management’s Rock Springs Field Office designating Fremont County as a cooperating agency on the Rock Springs Resource Management Plan amendment/EA; commissioners asked staff for a follow-up briefing from BLM staff.

The commission considered a memorandum of understanding between the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (Rock Springs Field Office) and Fremont County to formalize the county’s role as a cooperating agency in preparation of the Rock Springs Resource Management Plan amendment environmental assessment.
