County GIS staff and Schneider Geospatial presented the Beacon web portal and described functions the county could use—parcel management, online forms, comparables, EagleView imagery and emergency-management layers. Ryan Smith of Schneider told the commission, “what I am presenting today is something called uh Beacon,” and walked the board through sample modules and emergency-imagery integration.
