Engineer Justin Barfield updated commissioners on two FEMA bridge projects (right-of-way acquisition progress and title complications), completion of the eastern abutment on L. The full story
County Engineer Justin Barfield reported on multiple road and bridge projects. He said one property owner is willing to donate land around Line Bridge but another parcel has a different name on the deed requiring additional signatures and an heirship deed; four owners around White Oak bridge want payment and one parcel has a mortgage and another has a judgment lien. Barfield told commissioners "the plans should be ready to LET in the next few months and work would not begin on this project until late fall to early winter." He also reported the eastern abutment on L. Vaughn Road bridge is complete and piling work had started, the CDBG Sellersville paving should go out for bid next week, and the Poole Road bridge limit increased by ten tons after repairs.
