DOR says ATLAS cloud migration will be completed before K‑1 data intake; June 2027 target

Lucas Kanell, an IT program manager at the Washington Department of Revenue, told the work group that ATLAS (the agency tax and licensing administration system) is in the first phase of a migration to a cloud platform provided by Fast Enterprises. Kanell said the move is intended to create a secure environment for introducing federal tax information into DOR systems — an essential precondition for automating K‑1 ingestion and statewide compliance.
