Commissioners spent significant time with the developers discussing access geometry, alley and driveway widths, and TxDOT approvals. One commissioner warned that an alley feeding directly to 121 with limited visibility would be unsafe and said, "If you had a 15 foot alleyway and a fence here and a fence here, coming on to 121, your visibility is going to be 0." Staff and developers discussed alternatives including redirecting the alley to Thomas or Windrose Way, widening private drives, and creating an entryway with controlled landscaping and signage.
