The Lexington City Council met in a special session on Aug. 31, 2026, and convened into executive session at 5:31 p.m. "City Council convened into Executive Session at 5:31 p.m. in accordance with the Texas Government Code Chapter 551.071 to consult with the City Attorney regarding legal matters concerning TCOLE rules, regulations, and audits," the minutes state.
