Resident presses Thurston County for update on Morrow Bridge engineering and timeline
A resident asked the Thurston County Board of Supervisors for a status update on engineering and funding for the Morrow (4905) Bridge; county staff said design work is expected to begin soon and that bids could go out this winter with construction possibly next summer depending on federal and BIA funding.

Jean Morgan, a resident, asked the board for an update on replacement plans for the Morrow (4905) Bridge, saying earlier meetings set specifications and that engineering funding had been secured. She told the board the bridge closure previously forced residents to travel "a 16 miles round trip to get there mail."
