The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners accepted the immediate resignation of County Assessor Stephanie Kaster at its Sept. 15, 2026 meeting. The board moved into executive session at 10:12 a.m. "to protect the reputation of individual(s)," and emerged at 11:18 a.m., after which the resignation was submitted and accepted.
