Colin, an organizational development and learning specialist with Vernon Health, presented a grant-funded plan to train up to three local instructors in Mental Health First Aid and to run community classes once instructors are certified. "The hope would be, we would identify those folks pretty quickly here in the spring," he said, describing a year‑one goal of preparing instructors to attend instructor training in October–November 2026.
