The full story
Town Administrator Amanda Costello presented multiple property complaints and follow-ups at the July 27 meeting. Paul Hansen (7200 US Rt 2) requested an extension through the end of July to clear demolition materials; no work had been done and the board signaled consensus to proceed with the nuisance property ordinance rather than grant a further extension. The Town Administrator reported other properties with reported issues: 4029 Greenwoods Rd (trash; campers gone but tire stacks remain), 41 Deso Dr Ext. (numerous vehicles, some for sale), 9 Anick Ave (garbage/debris; potential abandonment per a complaint from Joan Mallory), and 2327 Route 78 (no response after a prior fire; property appears unoccupied and held in trust).
