To support a newly hired second clinical speech-language pathologist, the board approved up to 38 hours of added supervision (18 direct, 18 indirect plus 2 hours) at $50 per hour to meet ASHA certification requirements.

The board voted Sept. 15 to approve additional days and hours for the district’s clinical speech-language pathologists so that a newly hired second clinician can complete required supervised clinical hours toward certification.
