County Board certifies closed session compliance, adjourns meeting
After the closed session on May 6, 2025, the Arlington County Board certified by unanimous roll call that only lawfully exempt matters were discussed and adjourned at 6:10 PM; the minutes were attested by the clerk and later approved June 14, 2025.

Following the closed session, Chair Takis Karantonis moved and Member Julius D. "JD" Spain, Sr. seconded a motion to certify that the Board had discussed only matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements under Chapter 37, Title 2.2 of the Code of Virginia and only those matters identified in the motion to convene the closed meeting. The certification passed on a roll-call vote of 5 to 0.
