Walker County commissioners used their July 20 meeting to note the county was not selected in two drawings for the Annual Rebuild Alabama grant, which officials said would have provided approximately $350,000 for eligible road projects. County Engineer Glenn Peek confirmed the county had applied and had not received the grant in either drawing.
