The commission approved several in-service transfers effective May 18, 2026: Jamie Fuller, Patrick Jenkins and Nicole Nuss to full-time Utility Worker/Maintenance Technician positions, and Bobby Tucker to Solid Waste Supervisor.

The Walker County Commission on May 18 approved in-service transfers and a promotion in the Solid Waste Department, effective immediately. Solid Waste Director Rodney Cain presented the personnel changes, which move Jamie Fuller, Patrick Jenkins and Nicole Nuss into full-time Utility Worker/Maintenance Technician roles and promote Bobby Tucker to Solid Waste Supervisor; commissioners approved the changes with no opposition.
