Commissioners amend campground policy to exempt RV parks and tiny homes from external-restroom requirement

The court amended section 1.5 of the RV park, tiny homes and campground facilities policy to require external restroom/laundry facilities only for tent-campground uses, not for RV parks or tiny-home parks; commissioners said a combined RV-and-campground site would still need the external facility.

Commissioner Jeff Watts led discussion and a motion to amend Section 1.5 of the policy governing RV parks, tiny homes and campgrounds. The amendment removes the requirement for an external restroom, shower and laundry facility for RV parks and tiny-home parks while retaining the requirement for tent-campground facilities. "It just takes them out of that requirement but still leaves it implemented for campground," Commissioner Watts said.
