Committee approves Meals on Wheels production contracts and pest control vendor
The committee recommended five contracts — three nutrition providers, a dining services contract and a pest control vendor for the Handy Helper program — with the contracts to take effect Oct. 1; the motion passed 12–0.

Sheila, a county elder‑services staff member, walked commissioners through the results of a competitive RFP cycle and said the selected nutrition vendors would produce Meals on Wheels and related food boxes. "So that's what you're looking at are those 3 contracts that will go into effect in, October 1," she said.
