Board approves BNSF agreement for CR 18.3 crossing after requested edits
The Board approved a revised agreement with BNSF for the County Road 18.3 railroad crossing; county attorney and staff secured the changes required by the county and the Board passed the motion unanimously among present commissioners.

Administrator Phil Dorenkamp reported that BNSF had accepted the changes Las Animas County requested to the CR 18.3 crossing agreement. Commissioner Robert A. Lucero moved to approve the BNSF Agreement for CR 18.3; Commissioner Tony C. Hass seconded and the motion passed by roll call. Attorney Pamela Nelson assisted with the review and the minutes note compliance with recently passed state legislation that affected railroad agreements.
