Probation staff requested a $20 transfer from the day-reporting salary line to overtime to correct a payroll shortfall; the transfer was approved by the committee. The department also said it intends to move leftover contract funds and salary savings later this year to purchase body armor (warrantied five years) for 13 sworn probation officers, estimating the total at about $14,000.
