Committee approves Countryside Adult Home meal-contract increase and New York Connects application
The committee approved a contract amendment to raise Countryside Adult Home's meal contract from $180,000 to $188,000 and to increase the per-meal rate to $6 (effective Jan. 1, 2027), and authorized submission of a New York Connects application for $224,678 for the April 2026'March 2027 program year.

The Health Services Committee granted permission to amend the county's contract with Countryside Adult Home to increase the contract cap from $180,000 to $188,000 and to raise the per-meal rate from $5.50 to $6, effective Jan. 1, 2027. Dee, speaking for county aging services, introduced the item; a motion to bring it to the floor was made, seconded, and the committee voted in favor.
