The Miami County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 4 appointed Caleb Thomas to the position of Interim Transfer Station Operations Manager in the Sanitary Engineering Department at an hourly rate of $32.4520. The appointment is interim and will continue until the position is filled permanently. The motion was moved by Ted S. Mercer and seconded by Gregory A. Simmons, and the board voted Mr. Simmons, Yea; Mr. Mercer, Yea; Mr. Westfall, Yea.
