Advancing Macomb reports rising service demand, launches local community impact fund
Phil Gilchrist told commissioners Advancing Macomb has delivered 38 service interactions this year and is expanding capacity-building work for nonprofits, including a new community impact fund and support for a multi-community trail planning effort.

Phil Gilchrist, executive director of Advancing Macomb, briefed the board on the group's work under its county service agreement and said visibility and demand for its services are rising. "So far this year, we've been able to, have 38 total service interactions," Gilchrist said, citing meetings with 21 different local nonprofits, businesses and governments.
