The board approved a $4,992 bid from XTrimlight to install exterior lighting on three sides of the courthouse; the motion passed 2–1 with Chairman Heinz voting against the expenditure.

Wheeler County Commissioners on Feb. 25 accepted a $4,992 bid from XTrimlight to install permanent lighting on the north, west and south sides of the Bartlett courthouse. Commissioner Pokorny moved to accept the bid; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Plugge and passed 2–1. Chairman Travis Heinz voted no.
