Croatia says official development assistance has risen fivefold and highlights humanitarian programs

Prime Minister Andre Plankovic warned that last year the world's official development assistance fell by almost 25% but said Croatia has increased its contributions: "Between 2016 and '24, our official development assistance increased fivefold, while our humanitarian assistance grew more than 20 onefold." He cited concrete programs, saying Croatia supports girls' education in Kenya, provides humanitarian assistance in Gaza, assists Syrian refugee children, advances mine action in Ukraine and works to protect women and girls from digital violence.
