On July 7 the council adopted Resolution No. 920-26 expressing support for the Black Cherry Tree Project and the Elizabeth Lawrence memorial at DeBardeleben Park. The resolution authorizes continued maintenance of the existing memorial tree, supports replanting if needed, and approves installation of a memorial marker subject to coordination with city staff and applicable policies.
