The board approved a one-year building-automation (HVAC monitoring) contract to provide remote access, alerts and troubleshooting for the district’s heating and cooling systems. The director of buildings and grounds, Mark Jones, was introduced and explained the basic package would allow staff to receive alerts and to pinpoint system problems remotely rather than relying solely on on-site diagnostics.
