County emergency manager: Region 26 will now trigger tornado sirens for Garfield County
Garfield County Emergency Manager Marvin Hulinsky told commissioners Region 26 will automatically activate the county tornado siren for any tornado warning in Garfield County; he will stop manually triggering the siren. The change was reported during public comment at the Sept. 22 meeting.

Marvin Hulinsky, Garfield County Emergency Manager, told the Board of Commissioners on Sept. 22 that he will no longer be manually triggering the county tornado siren. "He will no longer be manually triggering the siren, rather Region 26 will set the siren off anytime there is a tornado warning issued in any part of Garfield County," Hulinsky reported during public comment.
