Planning Commission finds BN Enterprises parcel consistent with comprehensive plan, adopts resolution 26-01
The commission reviewed a proposed 4-acre acquisition from BN Enterprises LLC to expand the municipal campus, cited the 2008 campus master plan and statutory planning-agency review requirements, and adopted Resolution 26-01 recommending the acquisition to the council.

Staff presented BN Enterprises LLC's 16-acre property near City Hall and explained the City Council had directed staff to negotiate purchase of four acres immediately north of City Hall to complete a municipal campus concept. Staff reminded the commission that Minnesota statute requires a planning agency to review any municipal real-property acquisition and report on its consistency with the comprehensive plan before the governing body acquires the land.
