The Brookings County Board of County Commissioners unanimously adopted Resolution #26‑37, approving the county’s FY2027 annual budget and proposed levies. The resolution lists a General Fund levy of $16,522,110 (3.703), a County Building Fund of $424,295 (0.095) and a Jail Expansion levy of $510,900 (0.114), for a combined levy rate of 3.912 and total proposed property tax dollars of $17,457,305.
