Councilors reported they received a call that the owner of a former restaurant said she would stop paying the sewage bill and "wash her hands of it." The clerk said the property currently remains in the owner's name and suggested the immediate step would be to cap the sewer line on the town side if the owner refuses to pay; the council asked staff to check area-plan and condemnation status.
