Hocking County rolls out NextGen 911, updates CAD and adds Starlink links
IT Director Martell said NextGen 911 is live, permitting text-to-911 for county residents; he also reported CAD migration to CentralSquare's cloud platform and six Starlink units feeding sewer-station links and alerts.

IT Director Martell told commissioners the county's NextGen 911 deployment is in service and can receive text messages, calling Hocking County among the first in the state to finish the rollout. "NextGen 9 1 1 is up and running now," Martell said, noting residents can now send texts to 911 and that the county completed deployment early.
