Perry County Fairgrounds awarded $2.1 million for revitalization, staff say
A regional Main Street coordinator told Tri County planners the county secured $2.1 million for Perry County Fairgrounds revitalization, a project she estimated will take about two years to complete.

Jasmine Colbert of the Hometown Main Streets program told the work group that Perry County has secured a grant for the fairgrounds. "We have been awarded $2.1 million for the revitalization of the Perry County Fairgrounds," she said, and cautioned the project is large and will likely take several years to complete.
