Dundy County schedules Comprehensive Plan public hearing for Aug. 28
Commissioner Aaron Keiser said the county is developing a Comprehensive Plan with WCNDD assistance and that a public hearing on the plan will be held Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.; staff and partners are pursuing grant funding to support plan development.

Commissioner Aaron Keiser updated the board on work to develop a Comprehensive Plan for Dundy County. Keiser said he is coordinating with Ed Dunn of WCNDD, County Attorney Arlan Wine and Zoning Administrator Pam Reichert, and noted that Mr. Dunn "is working on a grant to help pay for the assistance of developing the Comprehensive Plan." Keiser announced, "There will be a public hearing regarding this topic on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 9:00 am."
