Chelsea resident asks why city has lost three managers in under three years
Resident Pat Berard used the public-comment period to press the council for answers about the city’s turnover of three city managers and an assistant city manager in under three years, asking whether the council or managers were responsible and urging the council to explain why future candidates should want to work in Chelsea.

At the start of the meeting, Pat Berard of Pierce Lake Village used his public-comment time to demand answers about repeated leadership turnover in Chelsea’s city administration. "Why did you lose 3 city managers and 1 assistant city manager in under 3 years? Why can't you keep city managers?" Berard asked, naming prior managers including John Hannafin, Roy Atkinson and others.
