Harrison County’s purchasing agent, Darla Haynes, recommended awarding RFP #20245 and the associated contract for the county property tax collection system to Harrison Govern (an unincorporated business unit of North Harris Computer Corporation). Haynes told commissioners the vendor "met all the requirements that we set forth" and recommended acceptance; the court approved the award by unanimous vote.
