City Manager Josh Hanson introduced resolution 20260801 to authorize applying for $250,000 from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Recreational Trails Program for the Old Post Road Recreational Trail Connection Project. Hanson described the project as roughly 2 miles of new 10‑foot concrete trail, with associated crossing improvements to create a continuous network linking existing trails.
