County Engineer Nick Bergman told the Pipestone County Board on June 10 that he denied six driveway permits on County Road 15 “from safety concerns I had,” and because the proposed access could negatively affect the city’s Safe Routes to School project. Bergman said he consulted Minnesota DOT traffic engineers and included the state guidance in the board packet.
