The Pipestone County Board of Commissioners voted to authorize Human Resources to offer the top facilities manager candidate a starting salary at step J in range C41 — $92,873 annually — a step higher than the typical starting step and therefore requiring board approval. HR told the board it cannot yet name the candidate; if the candidate accepts, HR will return at the board's next meeting (the 11th) with the name for formal confirmation.
