Guymon Fire Chief Grant Wadley reported to the Board of Texas County Commissioners that recent storms produced about 3 inches of rain in the Eva area and roughly 4 inches in Hardesty, but that much of the county saw little or no rainfall and that many fires resulted from lightning strikes.
