The Board of Texas County Commissioners voted Sept. 8 to approve a broad set of claims and purchase orders covering General, District 1–3, Public Health, Fair Board and other funds. The motion—recorded in the minutes as "Motion by Bickford, second by Sledge, to approve the following claims and purchase orders for payment"—was adopted unanimously.
