Engineer reports progress on Ravine Drive water-main, pump-station work and slope repairs
The borough engineer reported ongoing water-main installation on Ravine Drive, completion of electrical work for a backup well pending DEP permit submission, pump-station design work on Matawan Avenue and Crossroad, and temporary emergency permit for Onyx Place slope repairs.

Rob Keating, the borough engineer, updated the council on multiple infrastructure items including the 2024 road program and Ravine Drive water-main installation. He said backup well electrical installation is complete and that the permit to operate will be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection after the contractor provides outstanding documents.
