At the start of the study session, Dr. Clifford explained a new rhythm for the board: alternating shorter study sessions—recorded and focused on deep learning—with community meetings and workshops. “We have restructured, moving forward this year, to replace or restructure the workshop to have a study session,” Dr. Clifford said, describing the format as a way for invited guests and board members to engage collectively while the public observes.
